It's so strange how they all have that sort of medieval sideways perspective but at the same time the shading, lighting, and color all add a 3d element that makes them unique! I just love your sence of juxtaposition! Alsmost as much as your sence of color!

Hi, Someone had suggested I draw a Unicorn and Lion fighting and the rest sort of evolved from there. I have plans on working on an artwork next that delves into the Unicorn and the Maiden mythology / motif.

Thank you. Medieval art is one of my favorites. But I was also looking at some other artworks from other cultures when I made this, including Persian. In particular, the unicorn was modeled slightly after a sculpture of a horse head made by an ancient Persian sculptor. That being said, I've been researching the Unicorn Tapestries, amongst other things, and I have plans on working on an artwork next that delves into the Unicorn and the Maiden mythology / motif.
