The Imbroglio

An Imbroglio is can mean a disagreement or a complicated state of affairs, as well as a confused heap. I wanted to do some more knotwork type of work and I thought that title was perfect for this.

The creatures in the artwork are supposed to be these weird bird animals but another artist mentioned they look like cockatrices, which are legendary creatures that are essentially two legged dragons with rooster heads. If they look at you they kill you or turn you to stone, like Medusa. The only way to kill them is to have them look in a mirror (thus petrifying themselves) or the call of a rooster.
